Delivery Options

At Taitanicom Computers, we place great importance on the fast and reliable delivery of our customers’ orders. However, please note that delivery times are estimates only, and Taitanicom Computers shall not be liable for delays.

If the customer fails or refuses to take delivery of the goods, then in addition to all other rights and remedies of Taitanicom Computers, the customer shall be liable for all loss and damage (including consequential loss and damage) suffered or incurred by Taitanicom Computers as a result. At its discretion, Taitanicom Computers may charge a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price.

The goods shall be at the customer’s risk at the point of delivery. Upon taking delivery of the goods, the customer must immediately examine them and give written notice to Taitanicom Computers of any defect within three (3) days of delivery. If no such notice is provided, the goods shall be deemed to have been delivered in good order and condition and accepted by the customer.

Payment

The price shall be paid by the customer in full without any deduction in respect of any claimed set-off or counterclaim (including any set-off or counterclaim on account of any delay by Taitanicom Computers in delivering any part of the goods) on or before the payment date.

Unless otherwise stated, all charges/prices for products are quoted in Kenya Shillings (KES).

You are responsible for payment of all taxes associated with your purchase of a product, its delivery, and utilization. The amount payable for a product includes the cost of delivery to you.

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service (or any part or content thereof) without notice.

We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

Changes to This Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on our site. Your continued use of the site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.Return Policy

Taitanicom Computers will gladly refund or credit goods returned within a reasonable time (generally 3 days) provided the goods are in original condition, original packaging, the current version, and not a special order, hardware, peripheral, or clearance item.

Otherwise, we will make our best effort to arrange an exchange with the manufacturer or accept the goods back for resale.

The return period for defective products due to manufacturing defaults is strictly 24 hours from the date of sale. Clients outside Nairobi should communicate with Taitanicom Computers to facilitate the return. No returns will be accepted on products sold/delivered as sealed. Manufacturer warranty applies.

A credit note for the full purchase price may be issued if returns take place within 48 hours, provided the goods are in their original packaging, including all manuals and software, and are in resalable condition. Credit notes may be issued for goods returned after 48 hours but within five (5) days from the date of purchase.

All goods returned must be correctly packaged. Specifically, goods must be returned in the packaging in which they were received, with all outer boxes and inner packaging intact. Items that are not correctly packaged will attract a minimum 15% handling charge.

Original invoices must be presented with all returns. No credit will be issued for returns made more than 3 days after the purchase.

Warranty Information

Products sold by Taitanicom Computers are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stated. Taitanicom Computers does not make any additional or independent warranties.

Taitanicom Computers does not warrant the performance, compatibility, integrity, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any product but passes through to the customer whatever end-user warranty the manufacturers or software publishers provide with their respective products.

We do not warrant the suitability of goods. Please check the compatibility of products with your system and/or the manufacturer before purchasing.

Products have a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified. The warranty will be void if the serial number or its label is missing, or if items are written on or tampered with.

Please note: Due to restrictions placed on us by manufacturers, hardware that is defective on arrival can generally be exchanged if we are notified within 7 days of the invoice. Otherwise, the manufacturer’s warranty process must be followed.

Manufacturer Warranty

For products with a manufacturer warranty, Taitanicom Computers will not be liable if the manufacturer does not cover the product.

For items with a manufacturer warranty, customers will be required to take them to the warranty center in Nairobi CBD in person for faster service. Please ensure you carry a copy of your receipt or order.

All UPS systems are covered by a manufacturer warranty. Taitanicom Computers guarantees the unit only for the first 7 days after purchase.

Dealership Warranty

Units with a dealership warranty do not have a valid East African manufacturer warranty as they are intended for sale in other regions.

Customer Acknowledgment

The customer acknowledges agreement with these Terms and Conditions of Sale by placing an order to purchase a product from Taitanicom Computers. All goods are supplied on these terms and conditions only, and no person in employment or acting as an agent for Taitancom Computers has the authority to supply goods on any other terms or to vary these terms in any way whatsoever.

Previous dealings shall not vary or negate these terms and conditions in any respect.

VAT (Value Added Tax)

Our VAT is charged according to Kenyan Tax Regulations at the rate of 16%.
